There is a lot of planning and preperation that goes into a sucessful vacation. Depending on your situation, some of these may not apply, and not evey aspect is covered.
Destination Confirmations
During your planing stage for the vacation, you will have made online reservations for your lodging and transportation.
Make sure you have digital copies (emails, stored in an app). It is not required, but highly recommended that you also have a printed copy of each reservation just in case the internet is not available.
Apps
Make sure your apps are up-to-date.
- Waze – Excellent for navigation and can be used in other countries.
- Google Maps is a good alternative. You can find points of interest within the area.
- Airline App – If you are flying, download the airline app. Not only will your eTicket be available, you can make changes if there happens to be a cancelation.
- FlightAware – monitor your flight status.
- MPC – If you are traveling internationally and do not have ClearPass or Global Entry, this may expidite your customs entry back into the US.
- Music – If you already listen to a lot of music, then you already have your playlists. If you paid for the premium service then you can download youd music to play while off-line.
- Movies – for long flights you may want to have several movies ready to play while off-line.
