In August 2024, we started planning a trip to Costa Rica with several of our friends who had never been before. We quickly realized that March 2025 would be the perfect time to go, so we set our sights on those dates. After checking multiple airlines, we found the best deal with Delta for round-trip flights from March 4th through March 20th. Everyone agreed they could take 16 days off, so we pulled the trigger and booked our flights.
With the flights locked in, it was time to start planning the adventure itself. The group had a few must-haves for the trip, and near the top of the list were the hot springs. We definitely wanted to unwind and relax for a few days, soaking in the healing waters that Costa Rica is famous for. We also agreed on spending some time along the west coast to experience its stunning beaches and vibrant culture.
As we started to map out our journey, we knew we had plenty of time to explore the diverse landscapes of this beautiful country, from volcanoes to beaches, rainforests to wildlife sanctuaries. The excitement was building, and now it was all about fine-tuning the details!
